Assembles, tests, and trouble shoots electrical assemblies. Performs under minimum supervision, tasks of substantial variety or complexity which requires a masterly knowledge of assembly techniques, materials, tools, machines, and equipment. Assist in training new employees, assigning jobs, and check quality of others' work.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

* Assemble electronic/electrical subassemblies from schematic diagrams, drawings, or verbal instructions.

* Organize and coordinate office/employee functions.

* Wire and solder wiring harness and cable assemblies, PC boards transformer assemblies, control consoles, connectors, etc.

* Perform limited troubleshooting and testing of assemblies.

* Perform limited computer controlled operations.

* Other duties assigned.

Job Requirements


* Experience in wiring production equipment which would include but not limited to wiring GPU's, Dehy's,

* Awareness of area's of classification(ie. Class 1 Div 1 groups CD, Class 1 Div 2 groups CD), Nema enclosure designations and proper grounding technique.

* Ability to perform high and low level temperature soldering.

* Familiarity with tools.

* Ability to identify and read values of common electronic components.

* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and electronic schematics.

* Versed in circuit theory and is able to identify and perform component level troubleshooting.

* Advanced soldering and wire crimping skills.


* High School Degree or equivalent.


* 5 + years experience as a general electrician that would be required to understand and wire from a schematic/drawing.
