The tutor will provide both individual and group tutoring for students in both Anatomy & Physiology lecture courses. Tutors must be student-centered and skilled at establishing rapport and communicating with students, staff, faculty and other constituents. The Academic Support Center operates with a team approach requiring all staff to assist with a variety of projects for the center, develop learning activities, develop plans for presentations, monitor the center, and participate in marketing activities for the center (such as special events, bulletin boards, flyers, and brochures). A Bachelor`s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience with a strong background in the areas of Anatomy and Physiology are required. Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience delivering learning strategies and academic assistance at the college/university level. This is a part-time, wage payroll position, with up to 15 hours per week. Individuals must be able to work a mix of day, evening, and/or weekend hours during both the summer and academic year.SDL2017
