A small but growing central Pennsylvania natural gas utility contractor headquarter in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania is seeking experienced equipment operators for work throughout Pennsylvania. All candidates must have successfully graduated from high school or hold a GED. All candidates must participate in a federally mandated drug and alcohol testing program. To be considered, a candidate must have a current medical certification and a clean criminal background.
The company work area spands a large portion of Pennsylvania and may require travel and staying away from home during the work week.
The position is full time; however, work hours may vary due to weather and job completion. All candidates must be willing to work overtime.
It is preferred that equipment operators have a minimum of two years experience with backhoes, skid loaders, and mini and midsize tracked excavators. Equipment Operator must have knowledge of and experience in safe trenching and excavation procedures around underground utilities and in close quarters work areas. Equipment Operators will be expected to provide labor in support of the work crew when not driving.
